The Fine Print, in Plain English

Before you book, here's what the deal covers and what it doesn't:

• Day trips only. The code applies to new day trip bookings, not overnight camping trips or gift cards.

• Two-ticket minimum. You need at least two passengers on the booking to qualify, so bring a friend.

• Travel by October 31, 2026. Your trip date has to fall within the promo window, not just your booking date.

• No stacking. It can't be combined with other promotions.

• Blackout dates apply, and Yankee Freedom can end the promotion at any time, so don't wait if you have dates in mind.

• Non-refundable and non-transferable, with no cash value.

• Bring ID. Every adult needs a photo ID to board.

What $50 Gets You Closer To

Dry Tortugas sits about 70 miles west of Key West, and the Yankee Freedom is the fastest way most visitors get there. Here's what's waiting when you arrive.

Snorkeling and Swimming

The water around Garden Key is some of the clearest in the Florida Keys. Snorkelers can explore coral and marine life right off the beach, including along the moat wall of Fort Jefferson, with no extra boat ride required.

A Guided Tour of Fort Jefferson

Passengers can join a roughly 40-minute tour of the fort led by a Yankee Freedom naturalist. Fort Jefferson is one of the largest brick masonry structures in the Americas, and during its peak in the 1860s nearly 2,000 people lived and worked on this tiny island. The tour covers how the Army built it despite storms, shifting sand, and supply lines stretched thin by the Civil War.

Bird Watching

The Dry Tortugas have been famous among birders since Audubon visited in 1832. Spring and summer bring the massive sooty tern nesting colony on Bush Key, but fall is also a strong season, as migrating land birds use the islands as a resting stop on their way south. Pack binoculars.

Beaches

Soft white sand, palm trees, and turquoise water with no crowds and no traffic. Many visitors call these the best beaches in the Keys, and it's hard to argue.

Don't Let Sold-Out Dates Stop You

A discount only helps if you can actually get a seat. Yankee Freedom trips regularly sell out, especially on weekends and holidays, and the promo will likely push demand even higher through October.

That's exactly why we built Dry Tortugas Alerts. If the date you want is full, sign up for an alert and we'll notify you when seats open up, so you can grab them (and still use YF5026) before someone else does.

Ready to go? Book your Yankee Freedom day trip with code YF5026 and save $50 before October 31.
