1. Service Description
Dry Tortugas Alerts ("we," "us," or "the Service") monitors ferry ticket availability for the Yankee Freedom III ferry to Dry Tortugas National Park and sends SMS text message notifications to subscribers when tickets become available for their selected dates.
2. No Affiliation
Dry Tortugas Alerts is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Yankee Freedom III, the National Park Service, or any government agency. We do not sell ferry tickets. We only notify you when availability is detected.
3. Payment Terms
One-Time Alerts ($5/date) fire once when your requested ticket count becomes available. Unlimited Alerts ($10/date) notify you every time any seats open. Payment is a one-time charge processed through Stripe at the time of purchase. All payments are non-refundable. By purchasing an alert, you acknowledge that availability may change at any time and that we cannot guarantee that tickets will still be available when you attempt to book.
4. SMS and Email Communications
By subscribing, you consent to receive SMS text messages at the phone number you provide. Message frequency varies based on ferry availability for your selected dates. Message and data rates may apply. You may also receive promotional emails at the email address you provide. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time by contacting us.
5. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide timely and accurate availability notifications. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any notification. Availability data is sourced from third-party systems and may be delayed or inaccurate.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dry Tortugas Alerts and its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, travel expenses, or missed booking opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific alert in question.
7. Privacy
We collect your first name, last name, email address, and phone number to provide the Service and to send promotional communications. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate the Service (e.g., Stripe for payment processing, Twilio for SMS delivery).
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective when posted to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
